Alpha Genomics organised a two-day workshop on molecular biology techniques and sequencing analysis in mid-March 2022 at its Islamabad facility. The first day featured hands-on training in fundamental molecular biology methods, with demonstrations by Alpha Genomics scientific staff.
On the second day, instructors covered primer designing, Sanger sequencing and Sanger sequencing data analysis. The workshop attracted students and faculty representatives from various universities, who responded positively to the programme. A closing ceremony included remarks from Dr. Tanveer Hussain of Virtual University's Rawalpindi Campus, who distributed certificates to participants and organisers.
