Saad Khan completed his Bachelors (BS) in Biochemistry from Quaid-i-Azam University in 2023. As part of his BS research, he joined the Human Molecular Genetics lab. His Research thesis entitled “Identification of Causative Genes or Variants Underlying Hypotrichosis in a Consanguineous Family”.  Currently, Saad is working as Junior Scientific Officer at “Alpha Genomics (PVT) LTD.”  His main duties involve dealing with different projects, i.e., preparing samples for Next Generation sequencing, clinical exome sequencing and transcriptomics studies and their downstream analysis and further validation through Sanger sequencing and relative expression profiling through Real Time PCR.
